Darcy Milligan

I enjoy bending around what it means to be a musician. My primary aim is to recreate my synesthetic responses to experiences through enhancing samples of the world around me in everyday life with my own guitar effects. I am beyond excited to have released a record this September titled Tar Queen, and you can learn more about it here.

I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a mechanical engineer with a background in analog circuitry. In addition to my academia, I was one of the primary lab researchers/technicians at the Electric Guitar Innovation Lab. I feel greatly inspired by the multifaceted junction between music and technology, and both my musical and engineering projects reflect that I have strong curiosities and knowledge in both.
